Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Store Manager I is responsible for setting sales targets, developing strategies, and monitoring performance to ensure continuous improvement. They manage the store’s budget, oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies. Additionally, they lead and develop the store team to foster a positive work environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDrive performance through the store KPI\u2019s (e.g. turnover, rewards, new accounts, visuals. Etc.)
\n\tManaging stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the Company standard
\n\tDriving turnover to ensure achievement of targets
\n\tEnsures the team executes operational excellence through a customer-centric mind set.
\n\tGenerating high levels of motivation and commitment within the store
\n\tEnsure store staff implement merchandising strategy and standards
\n\tManaging team schedule effectively
\n\tStaff training and development
\n\tPeople management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management
\n\tControlling expenses
\n\tAllocate time effectively; handle multiple tasks and completing priorities.\u00a0
\n\tManage risk within the store<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tA Grade 12 qualification
\n\tA relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
\n\tMust have 2 years Store Management experience
\n\tMust have experience in driving sales to increase store profit<\/p>\n

\n\tA high sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to work independently
\n\tOutstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
\n\tStrong organizational, administration and planning skills\u00a0

\n\tA high level of attention to detail\u00a0
\n\tFigure and admin orientated
\n\tStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate the unique value of G-Star’s premium apparel
\n\tA passion for denim and an understanding of its potential beyond conventional fashion
\n\tAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals
\n\tFlexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.<\/p>\n
