\n\tThe position will be responsible for the administration of the company\u2019s payroll systems whilst maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client service, including statutory compliance, recordkeeping and reporting.<\/p>\n
You bring:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a payroll related position.
\n\tA minimum of 3 years in a supervisory\/assistant manager role.\u00a0
\n\tPayroll and payroll tax related training experience.<\/p>\n
A bonus to have:<\/p>\n
\tDegree\/Diploma in a related field.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Do For The Brand:<\/p>\n
The role may include but is not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tPoint of contact and support \u2013 providing prompt, courteous and efficient customer service to managers and team members who have questions regarding payroll in all respects.
\n\tProviding continuous support and query resolution for the payroll team as required.
\n\tProcessing senior management payroll:
\n\tResponsible for all activities related to payroll processing.\u00a0
\n\tProcess payroll and maintain payroll information accurately as required, ensuring all transactions are authorized, recorded and documented. This includes checking of transactions uploaded by the time and attendance officers.
\n\tEnsure that salaries (spreadsheet and required documents) are signed off \/ authorized by the appropriate manager(s). Ensure that sign off (spreadsheet) balances to the payroll\/pay register
\n\tEnsure that salaries are correctly and timeously paid, and that provident fund, statutory and payroll related payments (external providers) are correctly reconciled and paid by the due dates.
\n\tPrepare and maintain related payroll records.\u00a0
\n\tPreparing reports, analysis, summaries, journals, statutory submissions and reconciliations timeously as required.
\n\tOversee the statutory submissions and reconciliations ensuring they are submitted correctly and timeously as required.
\n\tOversee, check and release salary, external and ad-hoc payments ensuring correct, timeous and properly recorded and approved payments as required.
\n\tOversee the payroll operations administrators and payroll benefits administrators to ensure accurate and timeous service delivery.
\n\tWork with supervisors to ensure input is complete, correct and compliant.
\n\tWork with supervisors to ensure procedures and controls are adhered to as required.
\n\tWork with supervisors (and payroll project specialist where required) to ensure SARS, UIF, DOL, statutory and external providers recons, submissions and queries and SARS requests are resolved correctly and timeously.
\n\tAnalytics, checks, reviews and reporting as required.
\n\tWork closely with the Human Resources department and Finance to research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, prepare and maintain accurate records.\u00a0
\n\tStay current with Payroll software systems updates, functionality and new functionalities that are released in the system and communicates these to the department.
\n\tEncourage practice of the companies\u2019 values.
\n\tPerforms other and related duties, ad hoc projects, training and general admin as required.<\/p>\n
