employees, thereby ensuring that they are equipped with the required knowledge, skills and competencies to perform the job.<br \/>\n\tResponsible to ensure that training is ongoing through efficient planning and coordination of training initiatives that meet the needs of the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB<\/p>\n<p>Skills Development Facilitation<\/p>\n<p>\tServes as the Skills Development Facilitator for the Bank with Bank SETA.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for the compilation and submission of the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report to Bank SETA annually in keeping with Bank SETA Guidelines and deadlines.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for the application for funding for training opportunities as and when made available by Bank SETA in keeping with all application requirements and deadlines.<br \/>\n\tProvide documentation timeously to Bank SETA as required.<br \/>\n\tResponsible to ensure that all payments due to the Bank for Bank SETA funded training is received.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all Bank SETA audits are facilitated and that all findings are addressed.<\/p>\n<p>Training Content Design and Development.<\/p>\n<p>\tResearches and investigates content for new learning materials and assessments and enhancements to existing training material.<br \/>\n\tDesigns training courses (outcomes-based training) and programmes necessary to meet training needs or manage this activity via external providers.<br \/>\n\tRevises current training material to ensure training is comprehensive and professional<br \/>\n\tPrepares necessary training manuals for staff for use within the training environment<br \/>\n\tDesign, develop and conduct assessments to evaluate that all learning requirements have been met and the learners are deemed competent.<br \/>\n\tPartner with key specialist subject matter experts within the Bank via a train the trainer approach to deliver specialized training to staff.<br \/>\n\tEstablish on-going training needs through the inspection of internal reports from audit, ICO, Shariah and customer services and develop targeted training to address these gaps.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement e-learning training material via the Bank\u2019s learning management system.<br \/>\n\tPrepare presentations for staff training \/ awareness sessions as and when required.<\/p>\n<p>Induction and On-boarding<\/p>\n<p>\tFacilitates induction training for new employees including introductions to relevant department managers.<br \/>\n\tEnsures all required accesses and IT requirements are arranged, in consultation with the department manager, prior to the employee\u2019s arrival.<br \/>\n\tIn consultation with managers, ensure that internal on the job training plans are created for new employees before the commencement of employment.<br \/>\n\tArrange all compulsory training for the employee and ensure training plans implemented are signed off accordingly<br \/>\n\tDevelop job specific training for employees who are promoted or transferred internally to ensure that there is appropriate hand over and skills transfer.<\/p>\n<p>Facilitation<\/p>\n<p>\tConducts training for all new and current staff, on the Bank\u2019s products and systems and soft skills training.<br \/>\n\tCreate assessment for every training intervention using a variety of assessment methods on the Bank\u2019s learning management system.<br \/>\n\tIntroduce interactive training methods to ensure employees engagement.<br \/>\n\tDeliver refresher training courses where necessary to re-enforce training that was provided either internally or externally.<\/p>\n<p>Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct training needs analysis to identify the training requirements for employees.<br \/>\n\tPrioritizes the training needs in collaboration with managers for their teams<br \/>\n\tManages the training library and training databases, to ensure that all material is relevant and updated regularly.<br \/>\n\tEnsures that all training records are accurately and timeously captured on the Bank\u2019s HR information system.<br \/>\n\tAssign training to staff via the learning management system timeously and monitor for completion within prescribed deadlines.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate training registers for record purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Coordination<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinates all internal training for staff. in collaboration with management.<br \/>\n\tEnsures that training delegates are advised and reminded of the training in advance.<br \/>\n\tEnsures that internal training venues are booked in advance, and all equipment is available.<br \/>\n\tLiaises with the IT and Facilities department with regards to logistical arrangements for the training for delegates attending from other branches.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the training \/ awareness presentations and IT equipment are tested prior to the commencement of presentations<br \/>\n\tRequests feedback from trainees\u2019 post training via surveys. Book external training for staff which includes training arising from their PDP\u2019s, development plans or succession plans.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that staff sign training contracts where required prior to the commencement of the training in keeping with the Bank\u2019s training policy.<br \/>\n\tEnsures active participation at training committee meetings by preparing high quality submissions and meeting packs to the committee.<br \/>\n\tAssists to implement the training plan and training strategy of the Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Special Projects<\/p>\n<p>\tBecomes acquainted with the product \/ service, features and operational aspects through attending technical meetings to obtain clarity and guidance on training requirements.<br \/>\n\tDevelops training material for special projects and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tMonitors the effectiveness of the training conduct through consultation with managers and staff.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>\tA related HR degree or equivalent qualification will be an advantage<br \/>\n\tAn accredited Trainer Certificate<br \/>\n\tSkills Development Facilitator<br \/>\n\tAssessor and Moderator<br \/>\n\tTrain the Trainer<br \/>\n\tCertificate in design and development of training content and assessment<\/p>\n<p>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tA minimum of 3-4 years\u2019 experience as a Specialist Trainer.
