Job Description<\/p>\n
\tFreedom Stationery is looking for a motivated and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our factory in Isithebe on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will analyse and improve production processes, enhance workflow efficiency, optimize resource usage, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. You will lead lean manufacturing initiatives, conduct time and motion studies, and support continuous improvement across the plant.
\n\tImplement industrial engineering principles to optimize production processes.
\n\tAnalyse production data and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
\n\tDevelop and maintain accurate work standards and process documentation (SOPs).
\n\tConduct time and motion studies and standardize job times across production lines.
\n\tCoordinate plant layout design, process changes, and capital equipment installations.
\n\tMonitor overtime, manage capital structure, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
\n\tFacilitate people development and multi-skilling across teams.
\n\tSupport Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and manage performance reporting tools.
\n\tEnforce health, safety, and compliance policies across the department.
\n\tSupport Freedom Stationery\u2019s Transformation Strategy and business optimization initiatives.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Essential).
\n\tProven experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Engineer.
\n\tStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and production planning.
\n\tExperience with time studies, work standards, and business process improvement.<\/p>\n
