\tBachelor\u2019s Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Transformation Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
\n\t5 years\u2019 experience in Employment Equity, transformation, or diversity management compliance.<\/p>\n
Key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and oversee implementation of DUT\u2019s Employment Equity (EE) Plan in compliance with the EE Act.
\n\tAnalyse workforce profiles to identify under-representation and recommend corrective measures.
\n\tMonitor progress against EE targets, particularly designated groups including women, persons with disabilities, and black employees.
\n\tSubmit EE progress reports to EXCO, Council, and relevant governance bodies for accountability.
\n\tDevelop and implement initiatives to advance disability inclusion and accessibility.
\n\tFacilitate policy reviews to embed reasonable accommodation practices.
\n\tPromote anti-discrimination principles and practices through awareness campaigns and training.
\n\tSupport implementation of DUT\u2019s sexual harassment, antidiscrimination, and GBV policies.
\n\tDevelop KPIs and performance indicators to measure EE, disability inclusion, and transformation outcomes.
\n\tMaintain dashboards and data systems for real-time monitoring.
\n\tConduct compliance reviews and prepare internal audit readiness reports.
\n\tProduce quarterly and annual transformation reports for EXCO, Council, and governance committees.
\n\tEngage with unions, staff forums, and student leadership on equity and transformation issues.
\n\tLiaise with the Department of Employment and Labour on EE submissions and inspections.
\n\tRepresent DUT in national transformation, diversity, and equity forums.
\n\tCommunicate transformation priorities and outcomes to the DUT community.
\n\tAdvise management on compliance, governance, and inclusivity risks.
\n\tDevelop and facilitate training on EE, disability awareness, and anti-discrimination.
\n\tIncorporate transformation and sexual harassment prevention into induction programmes.
