\tCCBSA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the full lifecycle of Cooling Equipment operations across the CDE region. This critical leadership role is responsible for maintenance operations, cooler movements, warehousing, spares management, and fleet operations \u2014 ensuring assets are optimally utilised, service levels are maximised, and risks and losses are minimised.<\/p>\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nField Services & Maintenance Operations<\/p>\n
\tLead regional field services teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective support to customers.
\n\tEnsure planned and corrective maintenance is executed to standards and timelines.
\n\tMinimise machine downtime, repeat calls, and service interruptions.
\n\tManage third-party contractors to ensure service quality and compliance.
\n\tMaintain customer service levels and implement CSM plans aligned with customer needs.
\n\tMaintain accurate administration of all maintenance, refurbishment, and movement activities.
\n\tMonitor costing reports and provide insights to the Technical Services Manager.
\n\tOversee fleet utilisation, safety, image, and accident investigations in line with policy.<\/p>\n
Warehouse & Distribution Management<\/p>\n
\tSupport warehouse and logistics teams to ensure adequate cooler availability for distribution.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timely daily cooler deliveries with zero returns or outstanding orders.
\n\tMaintain cooler condition during transport and handle exceptions efficiently.
\n\tConduct asset verification and maintain accurate records.<\/p>\n
Spares & Inventory Control<\/p>\n
\tEnsure accurate stock control across satellite stores and technician vehicles.
\n\tMonitor and optimise model stock levels to balance availability with cost efficiency.
\n\tAnalyse stock usage trends and conduct regular audits to maintain process integrity.<\/p>\n
Performance Leadership<\/p>\n
\tSet and review performance targets with field and logistics teams.
\n\tDrive operational excellence by analysing performance gaps and implementing corrective actions.
\n\tUphold high standards of customer service, delivery performance, SLA adherence, quality, safety and housekeeping.<\/p>\n
Budgeting & Cost Control<\/p>\n
\tDevelop annual operational expense budgets aligned to financial guidelines and the business plan.
\n\tEngage team members and customers in the budgeting process and align outputs with operational priorities.
\n\tMonitor actual spend vs. budget, address overruns, and implement corrective action plans.
\n\tEnsure a benchmark-driven and disciplined approach to financial management.<\/p>\n
Skills, Experience & Education\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nQualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tTechnical or Engineering qualification (Refrigeration\/Electrical\/Mechanical advantageous).
\n\t5\u20138 years operational management experience within a field services, technical, logistics or equipment environment.
\n\tProven experience in maintenance operations, warehousing, fleet management or asset control.
\n\tStrong analytical, planning and budget management skills.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence.<\/p>\n
