\tGrade 12,
\n\tBsc in Mechanical Engineering \/ BTech in Mechanical
\n\tEngineering\/Electrical Engineering \/ NQF 7
\n\tA minimum of 2-3 years\u2019 experience in municipal infrastructure
\n\tWritten and Verbal communication skills
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license- code 10<\/p>\n
Salary: R 279 013.32 plus benefits<\/p>\n
Technical knowledge –<\/p>\n
\tThe successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency, acquired through proven work experience, preferably in all technical aspects, including maintenance of pumps and treatment works, and electrical works.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities \/ Duties<\/p>\n
\tOversee the maintenance and development of municipal infrastructure, including roads, stormwater drainage, electricity, water, and sanitation.
\n\tCoordinate and supervise infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed,
\n\tMonitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and safety regulations,
\n\tPrepare reports and maintenance plans for the municipality.
\n\tEngage with stakeholders, including government departments and the community, on service delivery matters.
