Acting as Tier 1 in the Service Delivery Model, this role manages high-volume activities, resolves cases from ServiceNow, and ensures Workday remains accurate and up to date.<br \/>\n\tYou\u2019ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters \u2014 for people and the planet. We invite you to be part of something bigger.<\/p>\n<p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>Workday Employee Data Management:<\/p>\n<p>Onboarding:<\/p>\n<p>\tSet up Workday profiles for new hires from recruitment.<br \/>\n\tGenerate required business letters and contracts.<br \/>\n\tManage cancellations for declined offers or no-shows.<br \/>\n\tSupport on completing joiner checklist steps.<\/p>\n<p>Role Changes\/Promotions\/Exits:<\/p>\n<p>\tProcess employee moves, promotions, and exits in Workday, ensuring data accuracy across elements (i.e. cost center).<br \/>\n\tCoordinate case closure with stakeholders and in-market partners.<br \/>\n\tInitiate EIB uploads for mass data changes.<br \/>\n\tProvide Workday data support to stakeholders as required.<\/p>\n<p>Pay &amp; Benefits Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate to maintain accurate compensation data into payroll systems.<br \/>\n\tSupport of enrolment and derolment of benefits, including coordination across journeys to ensure OTIF processing.<br \/>\n\tProcess HR-related purchase orders.<\/p>\n<p>Exit Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tExecute voluntary and involuntary employee terminations in Workday (steps that are not self-served).<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with in-market partners for seamless exits and clearances.<br \/>\n\tHandle severance administration.<\/p>\n<p>Effective Systems Integration:<\/p>\n<p>\tManage integration between Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes and Workday (automated\/manual triggers).<br \/>\n\tCreate and update local SOPs and work instructions.<br \/>\n\tProactively flag technical issues to relevant stakeholders to mitigate employee experience disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Responsibilities (Market-Specific, As Required):<\/p>\n<p>\tGenerate reports, analytics, and audits for validation purposes.<br \/>\n\tServe as a point of contact for projects and support on continuous improvement initiatives.<br \/>\n\tMaintain Governance piece for their area of responsibility \u2013 including updating of SOPs and Change management to the team<br \/>\n\tVerifying salary impacting\/pay letters daily, keeping a record of errors and working with line managers to correct with fellow team members.<\/p>\n<p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor&#8217;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field<br \/>\n\tMinimum 2-5 years proven experience in customer service, employee experience, shared service centers, HR advisory, HR partnering.<br \/>\n\tFamiliarity with HR processes and policies, ideally in multi-country or regional operations.<br \/>\n\tProficiency in Workday and ServiceNow (or similar systems like SAP).<\/p>\n<p>SKILLS<\/p>\n<p>\tRequired proficiency in English<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of Agile ways of working \u2013 using Gantt Charts, SCRUM.<br \/>\n\tStrong written communication skills, capable of delivering clear and concise real-time information<br \/>\n\tProviding consistent feedback and stakeholder management<br \/>\n\tAdvanced Excel proficiency and ability to turn data into action.<br \/>\n\tExcellent problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrated multitasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.<br \/>\n\tCommitment to quality, accuracy and adherence to SLAs.<br \/>\n\tEffective team collaboration across global hubs\/locations.<br \/>\n\tEffective Project Management skills, understanding of Gantt Charts and similar project management tools.<br \/>\n\tAdaptability to new technologies and systems.<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( https:\/\/www.unilever.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Unilever","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.unilever.co.za","_company_tagline":"On any given day, two billion people use Unilever products to look good, feel good and get more out of life.
