Digital Transformation &amp; Amp; Automation (South Africa) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Senior Product Manager: iGaming (SunBet) (South Africa) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Head of Data (South Africa) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            HVAC Operator (Cape Town)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Main Purpose of the job:<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Gaming Technical Manager has the overall responsibility and accountability for leading and managing the gaming technical operations for the business unit in line with gaming regulations, legislative requirements and company standards<\/p>\n<p>Duties and responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>\tUnderstand the Group Technical planning and delivery strategy and align Unit strategy<br \/>\n\tConduct SWOT analyses and feasibility studies<br \/>\n\tDevelop strategic objectives for the Unit\u2019s gaming technical deliverables<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the management and achievement of milestones of deliverables<br \/>\n\tUnderstand and integrate leading trends and technology with regards surveillance and security practices<br \/>\n\tConduct a risk analysis of the business unit areas with regard to internal and external risk and compliance management<br \/>\n\tManage and allocate people and operational resources<br \/>\n\tAlign practices with EE, SD and procurement transformation strategies which contribute towards BBBEE targets being achieved for the property<br \/>\n\tAct as a Subject Matter Expert on gaming technical issues for the unit<br \/>\n\tOversee the development and availability of gaming technical standards and processes at a unit level \u2013 ensuring they are updated and communicated<br \/>\n\tIntegrates Group standards into Unit Operations<br \/>\n\tMonitor and align practices with new legislative compliance, gaming regulation requirements and security protocols<br \/>\n\tImplement sufficient control measures (including systems and processes) &amp; checks within each department to mitigate any risk to the business.<br \/>\n\tConduct weekly walkabouts of work areas, both front of house and back of house areas to monitor compliance<br \/>\n\tConducts control self-assessments<br \/>\n\tEnsure all staff are trained and found competent against job requirements<br \/>\n\tWorks with internal stakeholders (surveillance, security and internal auditors) to identify risk areas and address these<br \/>\n\tIdentifies product performance and makes recommendations to address opportunities and gaps<br \/>\n\tBuild a business case to motivate gaming enhancements and obtain stakeholder buy-in<br \/>\n\tCompile and co-ordinate plan for the execution of new projects and machine moves<br \/>\n\tImplement and manage approved projects in line with timelines and budget<br \/>\n\tMeasure and conduct post-mortem feedback on the implementation of new projects<br \/>\n\tShares unit successes with other operations<br \/>\n\tComplete the following reports in line with relevant requirements:<br \/>\n\tGaming Board reports<br \/>\n\tInvestigative\/ Audit Reports<br \/>\n\tMonthly Financial Review reports<br \/>\n\tRisk Reports<br \/>\n\tMonth end reports<br \/>\n\tFIC reporting<br \/>\n\tProvides direction and support to management and employees with regard to surveillance, compliance and security policies, procedures, initiatives and innovations<br \/>\n\tProvides motivation and leadership to promote positive working relationships and employee relations within the department<br \/>\n\tTrack, measure and enhance employee engagement<br \/>\n\tIdentify and manage training, coaching and development requirements in line with strategic plans, e.g. skills shortages, succession plans, talent to build a solid talent pipeline<br \/>\n\tManage internal communication and development interventions to ensure competence levels of staff meet operational level requirements (right fit for the job)<br \/>\n\tSource and Select talent as per EE plan<br \/>\n\tDrive the employee value proposition<br \/>\n\tPerformance Management and coaching of reporting managers to ensure KPA\u2019s are achieved<br \/>\n\tFacilitates a performance management culture<br \/>\n\tFinancial Management for the Unit Gaming Technical function including:<br \/>\n\tBudget<br \/>\n\tCost management<br \/>\n\tCapex<br \/>\n\tPIP and forecasting<br \/>\n\tFinancial reporting for the function<br \/>\n\tDevelops standards on the customer experience for gaming technical in line with the unit strategy and customer value proposition<br \/>\n\tDeals with escalations \/ complaints effectively and efficiently to resolution<br \/>\n\tBe available on the floor to interact with VIP punters and guests when required<br \/>\n\tEnable staff that interact with the customer telephonically or in person to provide quality customer experience standards.<br \/>\n\tMonitor the customer experience offered by the team and address gaps<br \/>\n\tInforms department \/ staff of information required to perform the duties in the gaming technical operations effectively<br \/>\n\tCommunicates department\u2019s objectives, standards and operating procedures to internal and external service providers as per SLA<br \/>\n\tLiaises with marketing department to understand needs and make recommendations with regards technical promotional tools and application designs<br \/>\n\tManages the relationships and costing with vendors and suppliers<br \/>\n\tCommunicates any special guest requirements to other relevant operating departments<br \/>\n\tProvides feedback and reports back to Unit management on the performance and challenges within the gaming technical environment<br \/>\n\tProvides feedback on operations to management team on initiatives, performance, concerns, etc.<br \/>\n\tConsult with stakeholders and provide feedback to necessary parties<br \/>\n\tProvides direction and guidance on risk management to internal stakeholders<br \/>\n\tTrain and coach Business units to deliver the gaming technical objectives \u2013 legislative requirements, GB updates, leading practice in gaming technology, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Minimum requirements (Education and Experience)<\/p>\n<p>\tN4 with a trade (prior 1992)<br \/>\n\tT3, S4 or equivalent (Light Current)<br \/>\n\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in Gaming Technical shift management position<br \/>\n\tMeets the requirements for a key Gaming License<\/p>\n<p>Skills and competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tMotivating others \/ gaining co-operation<br \/>\n\tDecision-making<br \/>\n\tProblem-solving and designing equipment, systems<br \/>\n\tTraining;
