IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to \u00a0 develop this \u201cmine of the future\u201d. Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in human resources or a related field
\n\tStrong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
\n\tProblem-solving and decision-making skills
\n\tAbility to handle sensitive situations professionally.<\/p>\n
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:<\/p>\n
\t3 years\u2019 relevant experience
\n\tProven work experience in Employee Relations or a similar HR role<\/p>\n
The Role requirements include, but not be limited to:<\/p>\n
\tFacilitating communication between employees and management, and resolving employee relations issues
\n\tMaintain good relationship between organized labour and Management.
\n\tFacilitate and manage employee relations, including conflict resolutions and disciplinary actions
\n\tConducting investigations into employee complaints or concerns
\n\tImplementing, administering and advising on company policies and procedures
\n\tProviding guidance and advice to management on progressive discipline and performance improvement issues
\n\tKeeping records of all employee interactions and details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
\n\tOrganizing and conducting employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits, and compensation
\n\tIdentifying trends and patterns in employee relations and proposing solutions to improve the work environment
\n\tTraining and mentoring HR team members on employee relations processes and best practices
\n\tEnsuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
\n\tInvestigate employee grievances and conduct thorough inquiries to resolve conflicts and recommend appropriate actions.<\/p>\n
