\tA Grade 12\/Matric
\n\tA National Diploma\/Bachelor\u2019s degree, 3 years (NQF Level 6\/7) Human Resources, or related qualification
\n\tPayday Software System Certificate will be added advantage 4 – 5 years\u2019 experience in Human Resources of which 2 years\u2019 must be at a middle level
\n\tExcellent managerial experience, communication and reporting writing skills
\n\tComputer literacy in Microsoft Software packages
\n\tA valid motor vehicle driver\u2019s licence.<\/p>\n
Key performance areas:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for planning, leading and directing the Human Resources function
\n\tResearch, design, develop and align policies, procedures, systems and controls
\n\tMap out current and future Human Resources requirements taking into consideration operational needs, skill scarcity and retention capability as influential factors
\n\tDrive staff recruitment and selection processes
\n\tAnalyse skills audit findings and develop a framework for planned interventions to address specific skill gaps
\n\tReview the Workplace Skills
\n\tPlan and in conjunction with the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority, establish and confirm the status of levies and grants and reports on progress in achieving short-to-medium-term objectives
\n\tEnsure that policies are in place pertaining to Job evaluation and develop forward plans and interventions to drive Job Evaluation
\n\tPerform all functions of an Employment Equity Manager
\n\tResponsible for developing and implementing the Employment Equity Plan for the District Municipality
\n\tCommunicate with the Department of Labour on all matters of Employment equity at a National and Provincial level
\n\tCommunicate with the Head of Departments and management on specific statutory requirements encapsulated in Health Care Legislation
\n\tParticipate in meetings with employees, Management Teams, Council\u2019s sub committees and committees, District Health System Forums, etc. outline specific proposals associated with the Health and Safety functionality<\/p>\n
