\tDirect and supervise a shift-based team within the recovery plant
\n\tActively participate in forums such as Gatekeeping meeting and SHEQ to promote clear and effective communication
\n\tRecommend maintenance, upgrades, or replacement of equipment to improve plant performance
\n\tPlan daily operations to ensure efficient use of raw materials, energy, and manpower
\n\tManage and control production activities, including start-ups, shutdowns, checks, logs, and data trending, to maintain product quality and plant reliability
\n\tAssess and respond to abnormal plant conditions to sustain stability and smooth operations
\n\tEvaluate employees against role requirements and provide coaching and mentorship
\n\tFacilitate both on-the-job and external training opportunities for staff
\n\tContinuously review and adjust employee roles and responsibilities
\n\tMonitor, guide, and evaluate team performance against objectives and standards of conduct to maximize output
\n\tApply and enforce all SHEQ requirements for the section
\n\tTrack performance against SHEQ standards and address deviations immediately
\n\tInvestigate safety and environmental incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
\n\tEnsure excellent housekeeping is consistently maintained across the workplace
\n\tOversee the completion of BBS observations in line with mill targets
\n\tControl and monitor adherence to approved budgets for fixed costs, renewals, overtime, and manpower
\n\tMaintain clear communication with both internal and external customers and suppliers
\n\tRespond promptly to customer feedback and take corrective measures when necessary<\/p>\n

\tMatric plus N4 (Supervisory Management)
\n\tRelevant Trade Test
\n\tNational Diploma in Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering or relevant Engineering Discipline
\n\tBTech would be advantageous
\n\t5 \u2013 8 Years of experience in recovery and evaporator operations
\n\t1 \u2013 2 Years of leadership experience would be advantageous<\/p>\n
