A maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of an organizations assets, equipment, and facilities to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/p>\n
\tClinical, primary, secondary and tertiary services management
\n\tProject management
\n\tContract management
\n\tMechanical and electrical reticulations and services
\n\tCo-ordinate all work activities within the Maintenance department
\n\tManage and execute the corrective, preventative and continuous improvement maintenance strategy for the facility
\n\tOperate within and manage the maintenance \/ project budget
\n\tRisk management related to the infrastructure and assets for all plants and equipment
\n\tCompliance with the OHS Act
\n\tMentor and guide staff
\n\tExhibit a culture of service delivery<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric compulsory
\n\tDegree or Diploma in Mechanical \/ Electrical Engineering Completed Trade test essential
\n\tKnowledge of Management Information Systems is advantageous
\n\tExposure to hospital environment services is advantageous
\n\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
\n\tExcellent computer skills
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tGood problem-solving skills
\n\tAbility to cope well under pressure
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s Licence is essential
\n\tMust be customer focused
\n\tMust have a high level of reliability and accountability<\/p>\n
