{"id":25882,"date":"2025-12-08T20:01:31","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T20:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/talent-acquisition-consultant\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T00:24:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T00:24:30","slug":"talent-acquisition-consultant","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=25882","title":{"rendered":"Talent Acquisition Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you ready to architect the future Sales workforce of Miway in Kwa-Zulu Natal?<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a proactive, Talent Acquisition professional to step into a fast paced role where you will directly impact Miway&#8217;s continued growth in the war for top talent.<\/p>\n<p>In this role you will be responsible for providing talent sourcing and recruitment expertise to support Miway business&#8217;s current and future talent requirements that will empower the business to achieve its objective.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your core mission is to move beyond reactive hiring and execute the Employment Equity and strategic recruitment plan to ensure our talent mix is intentionally diverse and aligned with business goals.<\/p>\n<p>You will be a Pipeline Architect, partnering with business leaders to proactively forecast needs and build robust, high-quality internal and external talent pools\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with business stakeholders and HC team\u00a0to determine talent pool requirements.<br \/>\n\tProactively develop an internal and external\u00a0talent database\u00a0to increase recruitment responsiveness and effectiveness<br \/>\n\tManage recruitment process\u00a0within SLA\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProactively\u00a0develop and maintain suitable talent pools\u00a0within Sales and Business insurance &amp; Brokers, through a\u00a0proactive talent search capability.<br \/>\n\tRecruitment administrative and MIS reporting<br \/>\n\tConsult with TA Manager, and business stakeholders to determine, plan and forecast current and future recruitment needs<br \/>\n\tData analytics (Talent mapping, Linkedin insights, best practice data)<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with internal stakeholders to determine short and medium-term recruitment needs<br \/>\n\tProvide external talent search capability and headhunting service to the business<br \/>\n\tSet up and maintain talent-sourcing channels such as social media (Linkedin and TikTok) and search engines to uncover talent.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate the advertisement of roles through TA Administrator to advertise vacancy in line with business requirements and relevant TA standards<br \/>\n\tLeverage resources (including Ai) to screen and attract high caliber candidates through various social and professional networking site channels<br \/>\n\tConduct candidate screening and shortlisting\u00a0<br \/>\n\tManage consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes that support the employer brand and create a positive candidate experience<br \/>\n\tGuide and advise the business to stakeholders to effectively influence the hiring process in order to ensure the selection of top talent and support the achievement of employment equity targets<br \/>\n\tContribute to the offer negotiation process by objectively determining candidates&#8217; salary expectations in line with the budgeted salary benchmark for the role<br \/>\n\tRegularly provide feedback to stakeholders throughout the recruitment process<br \/>\n\tAccurately maintain and update recruitment documentation in line with relevant SOP<br \/>\n\tCompile and submit recruitment scorecards, monthly reports and other related metrics as required<br \/>\n\tMake recommendations to constantly enhance and improve talent attraction practices and processes<\/p>\n<p>Self-management and Team work<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers (HC, L&amp;D and Transformation teams) and stakeholders (Internal &amp; external)<br \/>\n\tPositively influence and participate in change initiatives<br \/>\n\tContinuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry, and legislative knowledge<br \/>\n\tContribute to continuous innovation through development, sharing, implementation of new ideas<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to financial controls<\/p>\n<p>\tHelp maintain agency spending (recruitment agencies)<br \/>\n\tIdentify solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and increase operational efficiencies<br \/>\n\tProvide input in the risk identification process and communicate recommendations to TA Manager or in appropriate forums<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirments\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Qualification<\/p>\n<p>\tA Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources or Industrial and Organisation Psychology or related qualification<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p>\t3 \u2013 5 years of bulk Talent Acquisition experience<br \/>\n\tRecruitment Agency recruitment exposure advantageous<br \/>\n\tRecruitment experience in the insurance or Financial Services industry is preferable<br \/>\n\tHigh Volume recruitment experience desirable\u00a0<br \/>\n\tExperience recruiting via Linkedin advantageous<br \/>\n\tStrong Administartion skills<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n<p>\tManage recruitment process ensuring governance<br \/>\n\tRecruitment administrative support<br \/>\n\tData analytics and MIS reporting<br \/>\n\tUnderstands business and role requirements<br \/>\n\tImplement the transformational recruitment plan<\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tPlans and aligns &#8211;
