Here is what you will be doing:<\/p>\n
\tThe Senior Technologist serves as a capable professional in an architectural design team, leading work on specific elements of a project with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or designated senior team members.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tArchitectural\u00a0Design
\n\tBIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy)\u00a0
\n\tDesign co-ordination (within\u00a0Architecture & Cross Discipline)
\n\tPerforming basic architectural\/engineering calculations.
\n\tPreparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
\n\tMaintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
\n\tPreparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
\n\tUnder some supervision, may complete design assignments of moderate to high complexity.
\n\tLimited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline.
\n\tIntroduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures.
\n\tIntermediate to advanced understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents.\u00a0
\n\tIntroduced to the process of performing material take-offs for the discipline.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Here is what we are looking for:<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Architectural Technology (BTech) from an accredited University
\n\t8 years experience within the built environment
\n\tRegistered as a Professional Architectural Technologist (SACAP)<\/p>\n
