APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENT: –<\/p>\n
\tA Senior Certificate (grade 12) or equivalent.
\n\t3 years National Diploma at NQF Level 6 or higher in Accounting or Financial Information Systems as recognised by SAQA.
\n\tA minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience of financial systems or system administration and user support.
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License (Minimum Code EB)<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for the facilitation, management and control of Official\/Use profiles for the Treasury approve approved Financial Transversal System (BAS) within the Department. Includes access to the approved Human Resource System (Persal) for user verification\/terminations.
\n\tResponsible for the creation, facilitation, management and control of the various manually created interfaces for the approved Financial Transversal System (BAS) within the department. Includes the following interfaces: Telkom, Budget, Fleet, National Laboratory & HIV Grants.
\n\tResponsible for the facilitation, management and control of the Treasury approved Financial
\n\tTransversal System (BAS) in regard to software & hardware fault reporting, diagnose and solutions.
\n\tProvide advice, guidance and input to policy
\n\tConsult with stakeholders and identify shortcomings in policies and legislation.
\n\tAssist with the preparations of comments and recommendations.
\n\tDissemination of amendments, circulars, policies and legislation to relevant forums.
\n\tEnsure the effective, efficient and economical management of allocated resources of the Division.
\n\tManage the human resources
\n\tManage the allocated asserts
\n\tProvide training, advice and guidance to staff
\n\tManage EPMDS
\n\tManage potential risks and mitigation strategies<\/p>\n
