PURPOSE OF THE JOB:<\/p>\n
\tTo develop and manage the execution of an integrated IT Security infrastructure and systems strategy in support of overall Ezemvelo strategy.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tCISSP certification or will be an added advantage
\n\tNational Diploma in Information Technology is mandatory
\n\tDegree in Information Technology will be an added advantage
\n\tHonours Degree in Information Technology is preferable
\n\tCyber Security, and Information Technology project management will be added advantage.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in an IT environment.
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience managing and leading an IT department.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnowledge of Information Systems and Infrastructure
\n\tKnowledge of IT change management frameworks e.g. ITIL

\tDevelopment and monitoring of IT security management Standard Operation

\n\tOversee and control implementation of IT security strategy
\n\tManage the implementation of system changes
\n\tEnsure IT staff and user compliance with IT change management process
\n\tManage delivery against performance contract action plans
\n\tClarify roles and responsibilities for subordinates
\n\tComplete skills and competency matrices for all subordinates
\n\tFormulate\/update job profiles for all subordinate jobs
\n\tConduct meetings with subordinates to plan, assign and manage work
\n\tSign performance contracts with all full-time staff members
\n\tMonitor and manage absenteeism
\n\tCoach and mentor subordinates and potential successors
\n\tReduction of Audit findings
\n\tRisk management reports
\n\tIT Security Trend analysis
\n\tIT Security Strategy document
\n\tIT Policies and procedures up to date and effective
