\tMatric \/ Grade 12 Certificate
\n\tQualified Artisan
\n\tAdditional qualification in management, engineering or maintenance management would be advantageous
\n\t3 years of experience in FMCG or related fields
\n\tProven experience in Maintenance Management
\n\tMust have sound knowledge of maintenance systems
\n\tMust be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft packages
\n\tMust have own reliable transport
\n\tMust be prepared to work overtime (during the week or weekends) when required.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will be responsible for the effective utilisation of all resources in the engineering \/ maintenance department to improve plant availability and to increase machine performance and quality at the lowest possible cost.
\n\tKey Responsibilities \/ Task will include but not limited to:
\n\tAssist with planning, staffing issues, ordering, loss control, and industrial relations.
\n\tSupervision of all maintenance staff and the quality control of all work.
\n\tPlanning for and allocation of all maintenance related work.
\n\tEnsuring that maintenance staff adheres to all company policies and procedures at all times.
\n\tEnsuring that all maintenance staff are adequately trained and informed of changes in work-related legislation.
\n\tPlanning and coordination of projects.
\n\tGeneral staff morale and discipline.
\n\tFormulation of rosters and controlling staff timekeeping.
\n\tAccurate record keeping.
\n\tMust be PRAGMA skilled (Preventative Maintenance Program).<\/p>\n
