\n\tDesktop and Laptop hardware fundamentals
\n\tHave a mid-level of experience and understanding in the following services:<\/p>\n
Mimecast<\/p>\n
\tAnti-Virus
\n\tMicrosoft Active Directory On-Premise<\/p>\n
Have an entry-level experience and understanding in the following services:<\/p>\n
Microsoft Group Policy<\/p>\n
\tMicrosoft Azure Active Directory
\n\tNetwork \u2013 Firewall, Switches, Access Points, Routers and Controllers
\n\tNetwork \u2013 WAN and LAN fundamentals
\n\tThird-Party Applications (Not Limited To) \u2013 Exclaimer, Code 2, Sage, M-Files\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Have the ability to perform the following functions:<\/p>\n
\tBe a technical escalation point to resolve incidents which lower tiered Engineers are unable to
\n\tBe a mentor to lower tiered Engineers
\n\tAbility to write Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for common tasks
\n\tWork within a Service Desk ticketing application and ensure that tickets assigned to you are communicated on and resolved with SLA
\n\tAssist Operations Managers with technical queries when needed
\n\tBe willing to work unscheduled overtime if required\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Education Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \u2013 Required
\n\tA+ and N+ – Required
\n\tMicrosoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate \u2013 Beneficial
\n\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Diploma – Beneficial\u00a0<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExcellent verbal communication
\n\tExcellent written communication by following email etiquette best practice
\n\tAbility to work independently and unsupervised
\n\tAbility to work in a multi-tenanted environment
\n\tAbility to work with other Business Units and Vendors with the primary goal being providing exceptional service to the customer
\n\tInterest in wanting to keep abreast of technology in the IT industry
\n\tInterest in wanting to keep obtained certifications updated and willing to certify in new technologies in accordance with the business strategy and personal roadmap
\n\t2-3+ years of experience in a similar technical role<\/p>\n
