ABOUT THE ROLE<\/p>\n
\tAs a Patient Admission Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless and informed admission process for patients entering our hospitals. This position involves assessing patients before admission, building strong relationships with referring professionals, and representing our organisation in various healthcare settings. You will travel to engage with potential patients, families, and referring partners to ensure the best possible care pathway.
\n\tPlease Note: This position is based in KwaZulu-Natal and will require regular and extensive travel throughout the region to support patient outreach, assessments, and engagement with healthcare stakeholders.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tPatient Assessments: Conduct thorough pre-admission evaluations to determine patient suitability for our facilities.
\n\tRelationship Building: Establish and maintain strong connections with referring doctors, medical professionals, case managers, and insurers.
\n\tMarketing & Outreach: Promote our hospital services through presentations, events, and direct engagement with healthcare professionals.
\n\tTravel & Representation: Travel to different locations to assess patients and represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events.
\n\tAdmission Coordination: Work closely with hospital teams to facilitate a smooth transition for admitted patients.
\n\tData & Reporting: Maintain records, track admission trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tApplicant must hold current registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse or full registration with the HPCSA\u00a0
\n\tExperience in patient admissions, case management, marketing, or healthcare liaison roles is advantageous.
\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders.
\n\tA proactive, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
\n\tWillingness and ability to travel extensively as part of the role.<\/p>\n
