\t3 years or more in a buyer\u2019s assistant\/administrative position in a manufacturing maintenance environment<\/p>\n
Duties\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCapture time-based purchase requisitions from quotes received from end users\/suppliers
\n\tEnsure all the necessary, approved documentation is received (work orders, timesheets, equipment, financial dimensions etc.)
\n\tEnsure no duplicate quotes are captured
\n\tSending purchase requisitions for approval (checking for errors and resolving)
\n\tFollowing up on approvals if necessary
\n\tSending orders to suppliers and ensuring confirmation is received
\n\tSending suppliers open order report every week
\n\tExpediting overdue orders (including sending procurement manager report and explaining delays)
\n\tHandling queries from suppliers, end users and finance
\n\tAmending orders where required, only after ensuring changes are required
\n\tSourcing of new suppliers
\n\tSupplier evaluations
\n\tGetting quotes for parts and services from end user requirements
\n\tReporting all concerns to procurement manager
\n\tAssisting end users with ERP support where required
\n\tStock takes
