Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\t6-8 years of relevant experience in maintenance, hazard identification, risk assessment, procurement, project engineering, and management in the heavy industry (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tRegistered with the Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) (Essential\/Minimum)
\n\tCompletion of a Management Development Programme (Recommended\/Desirable)
\n\tPossession of a Government Certificate of Competence in Engineering (Recommended\/Desirable)
\n\tStrong proficiency in technical design, erection, installation, and project management
\n\tExpertise in budget management and cost efficiency within engineering projects
\n\tCapability to oversee and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and legislation
\n\tProficiency in managing professional networks and participating in relevant engineering forums and communities
\n\tPsychometric Assessment (Essential\/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
