WHAT YOU WILL DO:<\/p>\n
Sales:<\/p>\n
\tConduct daily driver debriefs utilising the debrief form to review route performance
\n\tManage returns and stock on truck
\n\tManage departure time
\n\tEnsure route optimization and schedules for efficient delivery
\n\tMonitor and report on distribution performance metrics<\/p>\n
Governance and Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tKeep up to date with the relevant legislation and best practice with a view ensuring that all relevant Tiger Brands\u2019 policies are up-to-date and templates are compliant
\n\tControl and manage Depot risk programs.
\n\tImplement and excise action plan where audits reveal shortcomings.<\/p>\n
People Management:<\/p>\n
\tControl of weekly wages
\n\tOperational involvement on a daily basis.
\n\tCommunicate results and objectives to all staff.
\n\tStaff appraisals and objective setting.
\n\tConflict management.
\n\tInstil action-oriented ethos.
\n\tEnsure that company rules, regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to
\n\tTake corrective action for non-performance
\n\tCreate an environment of co-operation and willingness<\/p>\n
Risk Management:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the crew is trained on defensive driving
\n\tDrive the ongoing monitoring, escalation and reporting on risk management issues. Flag all risks and assist in finding solutions<\/p>\n
Induction:<\/p>\n
\tStandardize induction for Driver Salesman which covers Job profile and all the requirements of the job\/paperwork to be completed
\n\tInduct new driver salesman & van assistants into Albanys way of working (Driver & Van Assistant Job profile) Ensure understanding<\/p>\n
Stock Management:<\/p>\n
\tManage daily stock
\n\tMeasure and control stock rotation \u2013 FIFO
\n\tExercise stock reconciliation\u2019s and implement corrective action where necessary<\/p>\n
Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tProvision of accurate and timely reports to the lead in accordance with statutory requirements. Use and apply appropriate approved reporting templates.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or degree in logistics or SCM or relevant field
\n\t3-5 years supervisory experience in distribution\/depot within FMCG
\n\tValid drivers licence
\n\tComputer Literate<\/p>\n
