\tMaintain allocated sections of the plant to ensure high equipment availability and good housekeeping.
\n\tPerform plant\u2011wide maintenance activities during shifts, breakdowns, shutdowns, and planned interventions.
\n\tEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
\n\tManage spares usage, scope work, execute tasks, and complete maintenance reporting.
\n\tLead and supervise contractors when required.
\n\tPerform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs.
\n\tUse systematic troubleshooting and fault\u2011finding techniques; develop troubleshooting guides where required.
\n\tConsult equipment manuals and ensure machinery is maintained according to prescribed procedures.
\n\tRead and interpret mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings and P&IDs.
\n\tBasic understanding of PLC control and electrical wiring.
\n\tKnowledge of VSDs, DOL and Star\/Delta control systems.
\n\tBasic understanding of industrial networking protocols (ProfNet, Profibus).
\n\tStrong instrumentation knowledge (flow, pressure, level, and temperature sensors).
\n\tUnderstanding of PID control and its applications.
\n\tWork closely with production to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
\n\tDocument all maintenance work and maintain accurate records.
\n\tPerform mechanical installations, equipment changes, and repairs (bearings, seals, motors, pumps, gearboxes, valves, drives, screws, etc.).
\n\tCarry out overhauls and repair work as needed.
\n\tConduct basic fabrication and rigging tasks.
\n\tWillingness to work overtime, when necessary, standby if required, and weekend work due to 24\/7 shift operations.<\/p>\n
What makes you great<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
\n\tAbility to diagnose electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently.
\n\tUnderstanding of production performance metrics, 5S principles, and Health & Safety practices
\n\tMillwright Trade Certificate or Electrical & Mechanical Trade Certificate (Essential).
\n\tFull N3 Engineering Certificate or higher.
\n\tAt least 5 years post\u2011apprenticeship experience.
\n\tIndustrial manufacturing experience is essential (Plastic is Advantageous).
\n\tValid Code 08 (Code B) driver’s licence & own transport.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).<\/p>\n
