\tThe core purpose of this position is to accurately inspect vehicles and goods as required within the department.
\n\tThe role involves inspecting and evaluating the mechanical and cosmetic condition of commercial vehicles to determine the cost of rectification.
\n\tTo excel in this role, a high level of attention to detail and customer service is required. The incumbent must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers while acting professionally at all times.<\/p>\n

Key Deliverables and Outputs<\/p>\n
\tConduct vehicle valuations required by corporate clients and transport operators
\n\tSubmit all administration related to the position timeously
\n\tManage risk by ensuring company assets are properly cared for
\n\tWork flexible hours as required to accommodate customer needs
\n\tOperate in a service-oriented environment and provide exceptional service
\n\tBuild and maintain good supplier relationships and demonstrate effective self-management
\n\tExamine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage
\n\tEstimate the cost of labour and parts required for repairs or replacement
\n\tCompile and capture vehicle condition assessment reports on the client\u2019s in-house fleet management system
\n\tTest drive vehicles and take photographs of vehicles and body damage
\n\tTravel as required from time to time<\/p>\n
