The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary is responsible for direct and\/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group o patients and will function under the direct and\/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and Unit Manager in accordance with hospital standards and policies.
\n\tAs a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent is also responsible for and is held accountable for his\/her own acts and omissions.
\n\tThe Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary will be responsible for the assessment and care of the needs of patients and will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programs of care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients\/ report potential\/ actual risks identified, ensure all stock is well controlled and managed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
\n\tCompliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary and all applicable health care legislation
\n\tGrade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
\n\tA certificate in Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary<\/p>\n
Work Experience<\/p>\n
\t3 year experience in same position
\n\tRelevant experience in the nursing discipline\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tFlexible in working hours\/Shifts
\n\tCapacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.
\n\tCustomer oriented with good interpersonal skills
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and adapt to change with a good planning and organizational skills
\n\tUphold nursing standards<\/p>\n
