\tWe are seeking a detail-driven and analytical\u00a0Accountant\u00a0to support accurate costing, yield analysis, and production reporting within the Multi Green manufacturing environment.
\n\tIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining robust costing records, developing and managing costing models, and providing reliable financial insights to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
\n\tYou will work closely with production, procurement, and management teams to ensure accurate reporting, stock control, and continuous improvement across operations.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant BCom degree with Accountancy.
\n\tCompleted Articles (SAIPA\/ SAICA).
\n\tApplicable experience in a fast-moving environment, independently and in a team.
\n\tProficient in ERP systems (experience with\u00a0Business Central\u00a0will be advantageous)
\n\tExperience working on Caseware will be advantageous.
\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills
\n\tStrong understanding of production costing and yield calculations
\n\tFluent in Afrikaans and English.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPrepare monthly management statements, financial statements and variance reports.
\n\tAssist departments in budgeting process.
\n\tAllocation of debtor and creditor accounts.
\n\tPrepare reconciliations and ensure controls are in place.
\n\tMaintaining and correcting allocations in the general ledger.
\n\tMonitor and manage cashflow needs.
\n\tAssist with reporting and analysis needs from department heads.
\n\tPrepare, review and approve journals and EFT\u2019s on a daily basis.
\n\tEnsure accounting processing is accurate and complies with IFRS and SARS.
\n\tCalculate and submit tax requirements on SARS efiling.
\n\tMaintaining the asset register
\n\tAssisting in internal and external auditors
\n\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date costing records
\n\tMaintain and update weekly price calculator
\n\tPerform yield, production, and project costing
\n\tDevelop, maintain, and update costing models
\n\tGenerate detailed costing and variance reports
\n\tMonitor purchase price variances
\n\tPerform stock evaluations at month-end
\n\tSupport the budgeting and forecasting process, including pricing structures
\n\tAssist with stock counts and inventory control
\n\tEnsure daily posting of production and transfer orders
\n\tMaintain inventory item setups on Business Central
\n\tMonitor and report on production efficiency on a weekly basis
\n\tProvide support to departments with system-related queries
\n\tDuties and responsibilities may grow and change as the candidate and department grow and change.<\/p>\n
