Your Duties :<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse, process and reconcile cashbooks, including preparing import files, validating bank statement transactions, consolidating collection accounts and resolving variances
\n\tPerform detailed reconciliations on specialised collections cashbooks, investigate discrepancies using pivot tables and support monthly foreign currency revaluations
\n\tReview and verify bank charges for the Group, query irregular items with the bank and ensure all payments contain accurate audit trail references
\n\tReview and process external debtor invoices (including rental, utilities, security and cleaning), credit card recoverables, intercompany charges, management fees and transfer pricing invoices
\n\tCompile and analyse debtor age reports, prepare reconciliations and ensure recoverable GL accounts are aligned across all entities
\n\tReport daily bank balances to management, maintain daily and monthly bank statements for all accounts and prepare cashbook collection summaries for internal use
\n\tPrepare and process monthly journals in Pastel, update prepaid schedules, process provisions and reversals, and complete ad hoc journal requests as needed
\n\tRespond to BVA (expense analysis) queries and GL reconciliation queries, escalating issues where required
\n\tSupport internal stakeholders on debtor queries and provide accurate financial insights and feedback
\n\tAssist with backup tasks including reviewing purchase orders on Yooz, resolving allocation or budget discrepancies, managing PO approvals and validating bordereaux files with accompanying reconciliations and approvals for payment<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or Degree in Accounting\/Finance (advantageous).
\n\tMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
\n\tStrong reconciliation and analytical skills.
\n\tProficiency in Sage 50c Pastel and advanced Excel.
\n\tAbility to manage high-volume transactional work with precision.
\n\tExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
\n\tClear ITC and Criminal record<\/p>\n
