Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tManage a team of Sales Consultants to ensure growth of the Brand portfolio across various identified Channels by creating\/ driving brand awareness, consumer pull and building brands in line with strategic objectives.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tOversee the sales, promotions, and campaigns of sales activities with the assigned area of responsibility.
\n\tMake data-informed decisions to develop trade plan, drive performance and inform resource allocation.
\n\tEnsure products\/ brands are available widely in assigned sales area.
\n\tOptimize resources to achieve sales targets.
\n\tDevelop, monitor, and manage quarterly Sales Plan.
\n\tAnalyze and identify growth opportunities with measurement and tracking for reporting purposes.
\n\tMonitor Sales Consultant adherence to Call strike rate.
\n\tDevelop strong customer relations through frequent communication, professional, courteous, and ethical interpersonal interactions.
\n\tIdentify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
\n\tProcure market intelligence and develop appropriate action plans when necessary.
\n\tMonitor Accessibility, Availability and Affordability compliance vs noncompliance.
\n\tShare and implement new and innovative ideas to improve sales and the effectiveness of the sales teams.
\n\tCoach the Sales Consultants on Sales best practice.
\n\tPrepare sales budgets, projections and approve expenditure.
\n\tTrack, analyze and report on sales statistics based in key quantitative metrics.
\n\tConduct in-trade audits, measuring the team\u2019s impact in the trade.
\n\tEnable teams to gain market share growth.
\n\tConduct on the job training and Coaching.
\n\tPlan and direct the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives.
\n\tInstitute discipline when required.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
Educational\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3+ years sales experience.
\n\tRelevant experience within the Alcoholic Beverage or broader FMCG industry would be preferable.
\n\tThe ability to identify and define problems and make balanced and sound decisions.
\n\tProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
\n\tStrong numerical and business acumen experience
\n\tThe ability to work optimally in a high performance and competitive environment.
\n\tExceptional planning and execution skills\/capabilities.
\n\tExcellent negotiating skills to gain commitment to solutions by using your influencing and networking skills.
\n\tHave a passion for customer service by making clients and their needs a primary focus.
\n\tAbility to coach, facilitate, inspire, transform, and lead your team towards a shared goal and vision.
\n\tAbility to communicate effectively across all levels and manage customer relationships.<\/p>\n
