\tWe are searching for a Specialist: Talent Acquisition to join the largest manufacturer and distributor of major appliances in Southern Africa, to be based in Durban, Jacobs.
\n\tThe Specialist: Talent Acquisition will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s talent acquisition strategy. The role will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting top-tier talent.
\n\tThis role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage candidates and align the recruitment process with the company values and culture.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
\n\tUtilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events, to identify and attract potential candidates.
\n\tConduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and background checks to ensure the right fit for both the role and the company.
\n\tCreate engaging and personalized candidate experiences throughout the recruitment process.
\n\tCollaborate with the Employer Branding specialist to develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract top talent.
\n\tCreating and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline of experienced and critical skills candidate hires.
\n\tMaintain consistent communication with candidates to provide updates, gather feedback and ensure a positive candidate journey.
\n\tAct as a brand ambassador to convey the company’s culture and values to candidates.
\n\tTrack and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns.
\n\tProvide regular reports and insights to leadership regarding talent acquisition performance, candidate trends, and areas for improvement.
\n\tFoster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and team leaders, to understand their hiring needs and provide expert guidance.
\n\tCollaborate with the HR Business partners to ensure a smooth and efficient end to end recruitment process.
\n\tMaking recommendations for hiring decisions.\u00a0
\n\tStay updated on industry best practices, trends, and innovations related to talent acquisition.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for process optimization and enhancement of candidate experience.
\n\tPromoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in human resources or a relevant qualification.
\n\tProven 5 years plus experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a similar environment.
\n\tStrong knowledge of various talent acquisition methods, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment tools.
\n\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and build relationships.
\n\tProficiency in using applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, and other recruitment tools.
\n\tAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret recruitment data.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
\n\tHigh level of professionalism, ethics, and discretion in handling confidential information.
\n\tKnowledge of BCEA, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity etc.<\/p>\n
