\tOur client, an Event Management Company based in Durban is seeking an organised and pro-active\u00a0Event Co-ordinator\u00a0to manage events from planning through to execution.
\n\tThe role includes event co-ordination, client and supplier management, budget administration, reception duties, answering phones, and general office administration.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAbility to work under pressure and independently
\n\tPlan and coordinate events from briefing to post-event reporting
\n\tManage event logistics including venues, suppliers, catering, d\u00e9cor, and on-site execution
\n\tAct as the main point of contact for clients and service providers
\n\tPrepare and manage event budgets, quotations, invoices, and documentation
\n\tOversee event setup, delivery, and breakdown
\n\tPerform reception duties, answer calls, and provide general daily administrative support
\n\tEnsure compliance with health, safety, and company policies
\n\tEnsure a professional front-office experience for clients and visitors<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant qualification in Events Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
\n\t2\u20134 years\u2019 experience in event coordination or management
\n\tExperience managing multiple events simultaneously
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office\u00a0
\n\tStrong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence, own vehicle, and willingness to work flexible hours<\/p>\n
