Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDegree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
\n\tProven experience as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
\n\tStrong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation (e.g., Pandas, SQL Alchemy, Airflow\/Luigi).
\n\tHands-on experience building and managing ETL\/ELT pipelines.
\n\tSolid experience with Data Warehousing principles (e.g., Star Schema, Kimball).
\n\tExpertise in developing interactive reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Models).
\n\tPractical experience with Docker for containerization.
\n\tExperience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (K8s).
\n\tAdvanced SQL skills for complex querying and data analysis.
\n\tPrevious experience in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment is a significant advantage.
\n\tFamiliarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
\n\tKnowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
\n\tExperience with version control (Git) and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDesign, develop, and maintain robust ETL\/ELT processes using Python to ingest data from our POS systems, inventory management, supplier portals, and logistics partners into our \u00a0data warehouse.
\n\tDevelop interactive, user-friendly Power BI dashboards that provide real-time insights into sales performance, stock levels, supplier performance, and store efficiency.
\n\tUtilize Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) to containerize and orchestrate our data applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
\n\tModel and manage our data warehouse to ensure it serves as a single source of truth for the business, optimised for fast querying and reporting.
\n\tWork directly with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to understand their challenges and deliver data solutions that drive Boxer’s value proposition.
\n\tMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve our data systems to ensure the accuracy and timely availability of critical business data.<\/p>\n
