The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and\/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and\/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and Unit Manager.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all documentation is maintained timeously and accurately, reflecting patient care
\n\tMaintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from medico-legal hazards
\n\tContribute to the holistic care of patients
\n\tParticipate in ward\/unit\u2019s quality improvement programme
\n\tAttend handover of report at shift commencement
\n\tEffective communication with patients\u2019 regarding their care
\n\tPromotion of patient overall health and wellbeing
\n\tRefer all complaints from patients and doctors to sister-in-charge of the unit
\n\tCarry out all departmental duties as assigned by supervisors and ensure timeous completion of all delegated tasks<\/p>\n
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)<\/p>\n
\tRegistration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
\n\tCompliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
\n\tRelevant 2 Year experience in the nursing discipline would be an advantage
\n\tPrevious experience within a Theatre Operating environment essential
\n\tComputer Literacy
\n\tFlexible in working hours\/Shifts<\/p>\n
