\tRight to Care is recruiting Professional Nurses in Nkangala District, with positions in Dr JS Moroka X3, Steve Tshwete X4, Thembisile Hani X5, and Victor Khanye X1.<\/p>\n
Patient Care<\/p>\n
\tAssess, examine and diagnose patient\u2019s clinical conditions and triage.
\n\tDo relevant blood test and observations \/ vital signs.
\n\tInterpret HIV test results, follow up on inaccuracies
\n\tAssist with the process and implementation of VCT(Voluntary Testing and Counselling) \/ HCT (HIV Counselling and Testing).
\n\tDesign and implement nursing care plans, monitor and evaluate patient\u2019s progress.
\n\tPerform pap smears on all HIV infected patients yearly monitor and refer appropriately.
\n\tAssist with the process of implementing PMTCT (Prevention from Mother to Child Treatment) and TB (Tuberculosis) programmes \/ services at the site
\n\tImplement NIMART as mandated in Section 38A
\n\tRecord keeping of all relevant patient information on files \/ (Therapy Edge).
\n\tRefer appropriately.<\/p>\n
Staff Development<\/p>\n
\tSupervise and coordinate activities of all sub-ordinates.
\n\tParticipate in the site in-service training program<\/p>\n
Administration Duties<\/p>\n
\tCompile monthly and daily reports of ART patients.
\n\tEnsure efficient coordination of the anti retroviral site, its referrals networks and ensure sustenance of the ART Programme<\/p>\n
Research<\/p>\n
\tKeep abreast with present developments in the field
\n\tTo participate in research projects relevant to the specific field
\n\tGenerate relevant reports and do follow ups on inaccuracies<\/p>\n

\tMatric
\n\tDiploma in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
\n\t2 years as a Registered Nurse in NGO\/Community Clinic\u00a0Or a Hospital Environment<\/p>\n
Desirable Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tDiploma Degree in General, Community and Midwifery Nursing
\n\tHIV AIDS Management Course
\n\t3 years\u2019 experience as a Registered Nurse\u00a0Community Nursing Health setting or Hospital Setting<\/p>\n

Our history In 2001, our founder Prof Ian Sanne registered Right to Care as a non-profit (Section 21) organisation in Johannesburg. A year later our first funding was received from the international aid agency USAID. In 2004, we moved into our current offices at Helen Joseph Hospital, Johannesburg, and began providing clinic services funded by the Pepfar, a fund administered by USAID. By this time, Right to Care had matured from a start-up, pioneer-led organisation to a well-established donor-funded NGO. Within a few years, we were providing tens of thousands of patient with ARV and TB treatment in multiple provinces. In 2010, with a growing compliment of 500 staff members, we were appointed principal recipient for the Global Fund (Round 10). Around that time, we began a USAID-led transition from direct service delivery to technical assistance, primarily to the Department of Health. Our partnership with the Department of Health was strengthened and a renewed focus was on supporting their initiatives. Today we have over 1500 staff members and this is growing.
