KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tFormulation of strategic plan for Human Resources Management.
\n\tResearch on, and\/or to keep abreast of, the latest developments in relevant legislation, labour law, rules and trends in labour relations and human resources management practices.
\n\tEnsure effective implementation and monitoring of the KwaZulu-Natal Museum’s recruitment policies and practices.
\n\tEnsure that the recruitment policies are compliant with the relevant legislation and that constant reviews are
\n\tproposed to improve the effectiveness of the recruitment policies.
\n\tEnsuring efficient management and risk management of the remuneration and benefits function.
\n\tProperly managing conflict and ensuring minimisation of labour relations related issues, creating a conducive work environment for staff.
\n\tEfficiently manage the learning & development process to ensure service excellence.
\n\tManaging the performance management function efficiently to ensure service excellence.
\n\tEnsure overall effective and efficient management of human resources at the KwaZulu-Natal Museum.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF 6 rated) in Labour Relations\/Human Resources
\n\tManagement\/Law. At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience. Knowledge of the Cultural Institutions Act and the National instruments & legislation pertaining to human resources management with specific reference to the Public Service
\n\tAmendment Act and Public Service Regulations; Labour Relations Act as well as other relevant labour relations prescripts.
\n\tGood verbal and written communication skills. Proven computer literacy in MS Office. Conflict resolution skills.
\n\tPlanning and organising skills. Monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills. Valid driver’s license (Code B).<\/p>\n
