Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tDelivery targets (e.g. tons, products, service Monitor and respond proactively to hazards in the workplace).
\n\tConduct hazard identification in the workplace.
\n\tFacilitate safety related risk assessments.
\n\tLead incident investigations.
\n\tFacilitate RCA’s.
\n\tParticipate in the development of shutdown planning and campaigns.
\n\tParticipate in ad hoc Service Provider audits on site to check compliance to SHE file requirements.
\n\tParticipate in safety system audits, e.g. Logbook audits, lockout audits, legal appointment audits, insurance engineers audits etc.
\n\tProvide input during risk assessments to ensure safety issues are identified.
\n\tProvide advice on the selection and use of specific PPE.
\n\tParticipate in the respective forums.
\n\tParticipate in the roll out of the Safety Improvement Plan and report updates as required.
\n\tPortray the enterprise values and goals at all times.
\n\tExecute own and team competency development.
\n\tCoach team and others on safety.
\n\tDevelop extensive knowledge relating to the field of work and personal mastery in technical skills application.
\n\tEnsure that self and team meet targets, due dates and quality standards.
\n\tPlan and execute according to performance contract.
\n\tManage adhoc requests and tasks.
\n\tReview policies, standards and procedures.
\n\tEstablish and maintain relevant networks.
\n\tTeam and colleague communication.
\n\tEnsure the availability of all relevant information.
\n\tIdentify, evaluate and recommend improvement opportunities.
\n\tInput into the compilation of new and the revision of existing safety procedures and instructions.

Formal Education<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science and English\u00a0
