So, what will you do?\u00a0<\/p>\n
As a Logistics Specialist at iKhokha, your role will be dynamic and hands-on. You’ll:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tExecute daily logistics tasks like stock counts, dispatching, and ensuring goods received from suppliers are accurately stored.\u00a0
\n\tManage internal stock transfers, pick and pack orders, and ensure smooth dispatch processes.\u00a0
\n\tGet hands-on with card readers by assisting with key loading and customization to meet our customers’ needs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In addition to the above, you will:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Inbound Operations<\/p>\n
\tPhysical receipt and system processing of stock received from suppliers.
\n\tPhysical receipt and processing of customer returns on the warehouse management system.
\n\tKey loading and customising card readers.<\/p>\n
Outbound Operations<\/p>\n
\tEnsure timely order processing.
\n\tPicking and packing as per order details received.
\n\tQuality inspection and testing of devices before packing.
\n\tResponsible for the day-to-day dispatch of orders.
\n\tPackaging to ensure that the correct devices and quantities are dispatched.
\n\tDelivery expediting.<\/p>\n
Inventory Management<\/p>\n
\tExecute monthly stock counts.
\n\tPerform weekly cycle counts in conjunction.
\n\tExecute and report all stock movements.
\n\tEnsure that stock is in the correct locations.
\n\tEnsure that storage and dispatch rooms are always clean and in order.
\n\tProcess stock transfer orders to remote locations.<\/p>\n
Clerical<\/p>\n
\tData capturing.
\n\tCommunicating with service providers.
\n\tResolving queries.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMatric<\/p>\n
Deal Breakers:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar or administrative role.
\n\tComputer skills, Excel, MS Word, MS Office.
\n\tInventory Management.
\n\tBasic logistics principles.
\n\tKnowledge of POS device control and management would be favourable but is not a prerequisite.\u00a0<\/p>\n
