Job Description
\nKey Performance Output<\/p>\n
The successful candidate for Bram Fischer International Airport will be reporting to the Manager Maintenance Engineering, and will be responsible but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
\tAudits, monitor processes and adherence to standards and participate in root cause analysis.
\n\tExecute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities and assist artisan with infrastructure maintenance and routine inspections as and when required.
\n\tManage work areas and keep work areas clean and free from debris (workshops\/substations\/etc.)
\n\tGive support in commissioning and testing of assets.
\n\t\u00a0Manage tools and keep register of tools issued to Electrician.
\n\tProvide insight into studies on upgrades\/replacements of assets.
\n\tProvide input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the assets.
\n\tAdhere to relevant statutory\/legislative regulations, SOP’s, operational standards, policies and practices.
\n\tLiaison and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
\n\tProvide input into all relevant reports.
\n\tIdentify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
\n\tEngage with relevant Stakeholders on report findings.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
The following skills and experience will be required:<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate (N3 Electrical Engineering) is essential.
\n\t1-year Operational Maintenance is recommended.
\n\tCode B Motor vehicle license is advantageous.
\n\tKnowledge of electrical equipment and tolls.
\n\tBasic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.<\/p>\n
