Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tTo control all inbound stock storage processes to optimize inventory and service levels across the warehouse.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Inventory Optimization<\/p>\n
\tImplement inventory level benchmarks in terms of optimal stock cover across all warehouses.
\n\tConduct stocktakes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
\n\tConduct daily cycle counts.
\n\tControl stock level days in accordance with Company standards.
\n\tProactively identify and report on overstocking, under-stocking or out of stock scenarios and engage with applicable role-players within the warehouse in order to address the misalignment and resolve promptly.
\n\tIdentify and facilitate the exit of stock items that could pose risk of expiration and or redundancy by communicating with principals).
\n\tAnalyse and implement corrective measures to stabilise inbound flow and inventory peaks.
\n\tControl the allocation of bay time windows.
\n\tSign off on invoice verification on inbound stock.
\n\tControl inbound claims relating to non-conforming products from principals.
\n\tEnsure that applicable purchase orders and scheduled agreements are valid and applicable at all times.
\n\tCoordinate stock exit and take-on.
\n\tFacilitate and follow up on product recall and isolation instructions.
\n\tIdentify and report poor performing or dormant stock items.
\n\tCommunicate low stock levels to call centers.<\/p>\n

\tMatric.
\n\tDiploma or at least one year certificate in Warehouse\/ Logistics Management.
\n\tValid Code EB drivers\u2019 licence.
\n\t3 years relevant experience in a FMCG distribution and storage environment.<\/p>\n
