\tWe are looking for a Project Coordinator to assist our project managers in organising our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:<\/p>\n
\tDefine, design, develop, construct and maintain a range of building and construction projects.
\n\tComplete and deliver building and construction projects in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
\n\tProvide technical advice on building and construction related matters.
\n\tResearch innovative and cost effective methods of maintaining and constructing buildings in compliance with legislation.
\n\tPlan, execute and control building projects.
\n\tCreate and maintain a database of all relevant buildings, including building and site plans as well as building measurements.
\n\tResponsible for the planned and preventative maintenance for all relevant buildings.
\n\tResponsible for administrative related functions concerning applications for zoning, certificate of competence and special consent requirements.
\n\tScrutinize project scope of work (SOW), project plan and bill of quantity for all related projects.
\n\tPrepare, coordinate and administer projects for tender process.
\n\tControl and manage the procurement of related materials, equipment and services for related projects.
\n\tAssist in the developing of policies and procedures for the department.
\n\tReport on operational activities for the province as well as assist in preparation of budgets and cost analysis and controls.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tAdvice the department on amendments and\/or new building and construction regulation.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.
\n\tRelevant degree\/diploma in Quantity Surveying\/Project management\/Facility Management\/Building & Construction management.
\n\tTechnical Trade Test Certificate.
\n\t8 to 10 years relevant experience in a building and construction environment.
\n\t5 to 6 years proven competence based track record at project management level on building projects.
\n\tMaintenance and construction design, managing capital projects, tenders, risk assessment, planning and installation in mechanical and electrical fields.
\n\tProject management methods, strategies, principles, processes procedures and tactics.
\n\tKnowledge of Building and Construction regulations, SANS, SABS, OHS Act, National Environmental Management Act.
\n\tKnowledge of standard cost and financial accounting.
\n\tGeneral administration processes, SLA and contracts management.
\n\tScope of Work (SOW) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).<\/p>\n
