Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate intake, storage and dispatching of grain.
\n\tGrading of grain according to statutory requirements.
\n\tEnsure correct offloading and quality of grain.
\n\tOversee the loading of grain and sample taking process.
\n\tPerform inspections to maintain adherence to statutory requirements.
\n\tProvide inputs in planning and allocating of storage capacity according to crop estimation information.
\n\tPre-cleaning, drying, aeration and fumigation of grain.
\n\tMaintain a safe working environment.
\n\tAssist in identifying opportunities for value adding within grading criteria.
\n\tAssist in optimising Grain process to achieve value adding objectives and minimize risk.
\n\tAttend and resolve client queries.
\n\tAdvise and inform clients on transactions available and industry tendencies.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate.
\n\tAll relevant grading and fumigation courses.
\n\tCertificate in Management\/Leadership.<\/p>\n
Three years\u2019 experience in the Grain Industry with knowledge and experience in:<\/p>\n
\tCrop estimates
\n\tTesting and grading of grains
\n\tFumigation
\n\tKnowledge of aeration
\n\tUnderstanding of grain marketing and management.
\n\tExcellent negotiation and conflict management skills.<\/p>\n
