Job Summary<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tInstall, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment
\n\tDiagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance
\n\tPerform preventative and routine maintenance according to schedules
\n\tRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
\n\tUse hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
\n\tEnsure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
\n\tMaintain accurate maintenance records and reports
\n\tWork collaboratively with other trades and departments<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tTrade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years
\n\tProven experience in a similar role
\n\tStrong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
\n\tAbility to read and interpret technical drawings
\n\tKnowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
\n\tPhysically fit and able to work in industrial environments
\n\tWillingness to work shifts and overtime if required<\/p>\n
