\tA leading roofing and building materials company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Foreman with strong experience in the tiling industry and automated production machinery to join their team in Polokwane. The successful candidate will manage the maintenance team to achieve maximum production output and minimize downtime in a cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for optimizing resource utilization and maximizing the lifespan of equipment while ensuring all production output adheres to established quality standards.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure daily maintenance is carried out to ensure minimum downtime and a safe environment.
\n\tEnsure the implementation and ongoing use of a planned maintenance system.
\n\tOrder spares at the most economical price and control receipt of maintenance spares.
\n\tManage maintenance budgets, including spare parts inventory.
\n\tInvestigate and close out all safety-related incidents within the technical department.
\n\tOversee and motivate the workforce to achieve their best.
\n\tTake responsibility for the accuracy of daily labor hours and ensure legal compliance.
\n\tFocus on developing, training, and supporting the talents of all maintenance employees.
\n\tReport, consult, and communicate with the Works Manager regarding all site maintenance.
\n\tEnsure that all requirements of the OHS Act are conformed with.
\n\tEnsure 5S is followed and adhered to in the workshop and job sites.
\n\tEnsure proper maintenance of plant vehicles.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA relevant National Diploma or qualified trade test certificate (Millwright or Electrical).
\n\t5 years of experience in a Production\/Maintenance environment.
\n\tWorking knowledge of PLCs.
\n\tWorking knowledge of 220V and 380V maintenance, electrical panels, and control circuits.
\n\tAbility to work flexible hours, including after hours and weekends.
\n\tGood communication skills at all professional levels and strong problem-solving skills.
\n\tComputer Literacy.<\/p>\n
