\tDis-Chem is looking for a Qualified Clinic Sister to join their team in Ballito Lifestyle. The key purpose of the position is to manage and operate a profitable, Primary Health Care Clinic that is situated in a pharmacy within the scope of practice of a registered nursing practitioner.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \u2013 Matric
\n\tTertiary qualification in General Nursing
\n\tDegree\/Diploma in Midwifery
\n\tRegistered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
\n\tNursing practitioner must obtain BHF registration
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister
\n\tComputer skills \u2013 Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years practicing as a Primary Health Care Sister
\n\tPatient Record System & CKS & Allegra<\/p>\n

\tPerform Clinic Sister duties according to industry regulations and industry best
\n\tManage the average \u201cfeet-per-hour\u201d rate and set clinic objectives to enhance patient
\n\tEnsure all clinic services are available at the
\n\tKeep accurate records of patient details, and ensure communication is followed up
\n\tEnsure that the Clinic is open and operational according to the hours stated in the operational
\n\tProcess claims accurately and timeously according to industry
\n\tEnsure all stock and equipment in the clinic is in a working condition according to industry
\n\tEnsure stock is sufficient in the Clinic according to business
\n\tBuild and maintain healthy relationships with the following stakeholders: Patients, Store and Dispensary Manager, Colleagues, Medical Aids, Suppliers\/Reps, key role players in the community, and other Healthcare<\/p>\n
Competencies:
\nEssential:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of community health nursing, primary health care and\/or occupational health nursing, family planning, cytology, IUD, pharmacology, EPI\/cold chain management, STDs, emergency care, HIV\/AIDS pre- and post-counseling, breastfeeding, pathology, wound care
\n\tQuarterly CPD training; in-service training with Dis-Chem
\n\tStrong command of English (written and oral)
\n\tUnderstand the financial implications of meeting or not meeting set monthly targets
\n\tStrong analytical skills relating to monthly clinic statistics and commission
\n\tEmotional intelligence; entrepreneurial flair; trustworthy and honest
\n\tAbility to manage team and self; be self-direct and self-motivated
\n\tTime management<\/p>\n

\n\tKnowledge and understanding of the business objectives
