\/>\n\tAdvise on the drafting of misconduct charges.<br \/>\n\tOversee employee suspension from work.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate disciplinary outcomes.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate employee exits in the event of dismissal.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate ER training.<br \/>\n\tEngage with shop stewards on specific issues mandated by ER Management.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the release of shop stewards to attend to amongst other management meetings<br \/>\n\tOversee the medical incapacity processes from start to end.<br \/>\n\tAdvice line management on how to deal with poor performing employees.<br \/>\n\tAdvice line managers on probation related queries<br \/>\n\tConflict resolution amongst and between employees.<br \/>\n\tEnsure labour peace within workplace.<br \/>\n\tPrepare for and represent the Company during CCMA processes.<br \/>\n\tReceive and facilitate the resolution of employee grievances.<br \/>\n\tConduct\u00a0ad-hoc\u00a0investigations.<br \/>\n\tFiling and capturing on the system ER records.<br \/>\n\tAbsenteeism trend analysis<br \/>\n\tReceive and capture union membership stop order forms.<br \/>\n\tAssist in dispute resolution<\/p>\n<p>Administrative and Training Support<\/p>\n<p>\tOrganise training sessions and workshops, in collaboration with the Employee Relations Business Partners and Learning and Development (L&amp;D) team.<br \/>\n\tPrepare for ER training sessions, by reviewing and printing updated versions of the training material, to ensure that the facilitator and attendees have all the latest resources as needed.<br \/>\n\tContact all witnesses, supervisors and\/or opposition parties linked to a disciplinary -, Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) -, or pre-arbitration case, to ensure their awareness and participation as needed.<br \/>\n\tExecute all disciplinary process administrative actions (i.e., diary management, letter writing, requesting employee attendance, etc.), to ensure that the disciplinary case\/ process can proceed as planned.<br \/>\n\tPrepare, coordinate, record and communicate all ER meetings, by notifying attendees of the meeting logistics and preparing meeting minutes and agendas, to ensure that all ER meetings are executed as needed and key points discussed and communicated to all key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance Management<\/p>\n<p>\tStay up-to-date with South African labour laws, regulations and industry standards, to ensure that TM&#8217;s policies and practices are compliant with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tProvide guidance and support to employees and management in understanding company policies, procedures and practices, to address queries and concerns related to ER policies and guidelines.<br \/>\n\tMaintain accurate records of ER cases, investigations, resolutions, and communication, to ensure the availability of all ER case records as\/when needed.<br \/>\n\tEvaluate and review all ER case outcomes and penalties to ensure consistent application of TM standards and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\n\tConduct audits, ER surveys and dipsticks to assess the effectiveness of all ER procedure and their compliance with regulatory requirements, TM standards and policies, and legislation.<\/p>\n<p>Resource Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDetermine resource needs within own area of responsibility to achieve individual role outcomes.<br \/>\n\tRequest and allocate required assets and\/or resources for the fulfilment of work objectives to guarantee quality outputs.<br \/>\n\tMonitor the use of assets and resources within the team and own area of responsibility, to ensure assets and resources are consistently and appropriately utilised and managed.<br \/>\n\tProvide staff with day-to-day direction and tasks aligned with Departmental procedures, to enable the usage of less resources more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>Stakeholder Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tEngage with all relevant Departments on issues of the area of specialisation, as directed by the Employee Relations Manager.<br \/>\n\tCommunicate with internal and\/or external stakeholders, where required, to achieve work objectives and to maintain relationships.<br \/>\n\tContribute to efforts that boost employee engagement, morale, and job satisfaction, to support in building a positive work environment.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tDiploma (NQF6) or equivalent in Employee Relations, Labour Relations or equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>Job-specific experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum of 5-6 years Employee Relations experience.<br \/>\n\tAdvantageous: Experience with The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA); stakeholder relations management and mining industry ER experience.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work with the full Microsoft suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)<br \/>\n\tExperience\/Exposure on MS Dynamics
