Purpose of the role:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a highly skilled HR Practitioner with proven experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on HR role responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR activities, supporting managers and employees, and ensuring compliance with labour legislation and internal HR policies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic production setting.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tRecruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process for manufacturing roles, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
\n\tEmployee Relations: Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary matters.
\n\tPerformance Management: Support performance appraisal processes, track objectives, and assist in identifying training and development needs.
\n\tTalent Mapping & Succession Planning: Identify high-potential employees and build internal pipelines to ensure long-term organizational stability.
\n\tTraining & Development: Coordinate and implement training initiatives to improve employee skills, safety awareness, and productivity.
\n\tCompliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to labour laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and internal HR policies.
\n\tHR Projects & Initiatives: Participate in HR-related projects to improve employee engagement, workplace culture, and operational efficiency.
\n\tReporting & Analytics: Generate HR metrics and reports to inform management decisions and support workforce planning.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDegree\/Diploma in HR Management, Industrial Psychology or any related field.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience as an HR Practitioner in a manufacturing environment (experience in printing and packaging is advantageous).
\n\tProficiency in HRIS software (Sage VIP and Jarrison Time is essential).
\n\tSolid knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
\n\tHigh levels of confidentiality, credibility and trust.
\n\tAccuracy in execution, attention to detail and reliability in meeting set deadlines and work with sense of urgency.
\n\tStrong organizational, problem-solving, and administrative skills.
\n\tDemonstrate the ability to be innovative and show initiative.
\n\tDemonstrate the ability to be self-reliant, self-motivated and take responsibility and have a sense of pride in work execution.
\n\tBe able to work independently, as well as be a team player.
\n\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
