Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with 3 years practical work experience in a hospitality or tourist accommodation.
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license can be an added advantage.
\n\tCommunication skills both written and verbal.
\n\tBasic understanding of customer service principles to interact politely and professionally with guests.
\n\tKnowledge of First Aid and safe working procedures.
\n\tHygiene skills and Room Attendant Course will be an added advantage.
\n\tKnowledge of SANParks Act as well as the Safety Regulations and Code of Conduct.
\n\tWorking well in a team environment.
\n\tUnderstanding of accepted tourism standards.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tPerform cleaning duties including chalets, ablution block, camping sites, offices, and surrounding areas to prescribed set standards.
\n\tClean public areas such as reception, restrooms and walkways and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
\n\tControl inventory items.
\n\tReporting abnormalities including equipment and maintenance faults.
\n\tAssist with the collection of supplies when necessary.
\n\tAssist with general work in rest camp & linen room.
\n\tAd hoc duties as instructed by Supervisor.
\n\tEnsuring sufficient supply of stock to guest units.
\n\tRelieve other Room Attendant when off duty.<\/p>\n
