Applications that meet the stated requirements are invited for a vacancy that exists for a dynamic and skilled Branch Manager to join the team based at our Umhlanga Office. This role reports directly to Regional Operations Manager, in the Office Services Business Unit. The Branch Manager will be responsible for the management and Control of EBITDA, gross profit, total wage cost, business growth, retention of contracts and administration for the Division. Manage human resources including recruitment, training, and coaching and performance management, Staff Welfare and Health and Safety for the branch.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMust possess a relevant Operations Management Degree\/National Diploma:
\n\tMinimum of 3 years’ experience in the industry:
\n\tAbility to work effectively as part of a team
\n\tGood problem-solving skills
\n\tMust be able to work under pressure
\n\tGeneral computer literacy;
\n\tGood communication and report writing skills;
\n\tPay attention to detail:
\n\tBasic knowledge of the Health and Safety Act of 1993
\n\tGood analytical, problem solving, customer service skills
\n\tComputer Literate:
\n\tMust be detail oriented with excellent organisational skills
\n\tAbility to work independently, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines:
\n\tEffective verbal and written communication skills<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDriving the Operations strategy daily;
\n\tStrict control of margins and costs
\n\tBuilding and maintaining excellent Customer Relationships;
\n\tSetting and maintaining quality standards:
\n\tManage assets, machinery and equipment
\n\tImplement, maintain and enforce policies and procedures
\n\tMeet goals and manage budget;
\n\tDevelop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans,
\n\tLocate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities;
\n\tAddress customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly:
\n\tShare knowledge with other branches on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs,
\n\tAdhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations\/applicable laws;
\n\tAbility to implement, maintain and enforce policies and procedures<\/p>\n
