Purpose<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Sales Representative must acquire new agents as prescribed by the Sales Manager in line with the overall business acquisition strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Sales and Revenue Targets:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that all new business acquisition and revenue targets as set by the business within the territory assigned are met within the specified timeframe.<br \/>\n\tGrow revenues significantly through new business acquisition by selling the right solutions to the right customer and achieving the greatest possible product mix.<br \/>\n\tOptimize merchant referrals by exploiting key relationships within the assigned territory.<br \/>\n\tEvaluate the customers\u2019 business needs and propose\/present an appropriate solution.<br \/>\n\tEducate potential customers\/Agents on the benefits of our products and services by means of a compelling articulation of our business model and value proposition.<br \/>\n\tEnsure visibility in competitor sites by persistent and constant calling and ongoing customer engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Business Development and Growth:<\/p>\n<p>\tPerform an opportunity assessment of the territory in consultation with the Sales Manager, Channel Operations Manager and Regional Managers.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and execute a targeted sales strategy, supported by tactical and execution plans.<br \/>\n\tMeet the required standards set for calling on new prospects.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that specific sales briefs are executed whether within or outside the territory assigned to the Sales Representative.<br \/>\n\tAct and follow up on all sales leads provided by the Sales Manager.<br \/>\n\tSign up new Agents on a weekly basis.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with the Sales Manager on areas to target.<br \/>\n\tEffective communication with the Sales Manager when new Agents are signed up.<br \/>\n\tAssist with allocation of Agents if necessary.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all paperwork for the new agents is submitted to admin for capturing.<br \/>\n\tEnsure continuous participation in product updates\/enhancements\/new requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Client Onboarding and Retention<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that new business initiatives\/sign-ups are executed effectively and efficiently in cooperation with Regional and Head Office Teams.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and Sales Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure weekly call reports are completed accurately and submitted within the required deadline(s).<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all cold calls and appointments are reported on in accordance with company procedures.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all applications are submitted in a timeous and orderly manner.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that a diary is kept of planned and executed activities on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and Sales Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure weekly call reports are completed accurately and submitted within the required deadline(s).<br \/>\n\tEnsure that all cold calls
