Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tYou will oversee the day to day tasks of the maintenance needs of the specific cell including managing the Progressive Maintenance (PM) in the cell by eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses. Perform a wide variety of maintenance duties including preventative, progressive, emergency, and routine maintenance and regular inspections. \u00a0The Maintenance Lead will also act as a trainer, technical coach, resource, and mentor to cell crew by disseminating technical knowledge among operators.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEliminating engineering, maintenance, and breakdown related losses (loss elimination)
\n\tManage maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling and breakdown elimination daily management systems
\n\tManage the maintenance systems for the specific cell (Management of maintenance Planning & scheduling (MP &S).
\n\tResponsible for building capability in operating teams to deliver overall cell results supporting the Compelling Business Need (CBN)
\n\tDrive breakthrough results in planned and unplanned downtime
\n\tManage M&R costs for the cell (percentage planned maintenance, percentage planned maintenance completed and breakdown reduction
\n\tEnsures stock control and looks for reducing levels of spare parts and pickings
\n\tProvides process improvements on related processes
\n\tCoach and develop shift teams by serving as technical coach, resource and mentor (Improving operator\u2019s technical knowledge).
\n\tParticipate in cell daily direction setting meetings and execution of daily plan
\n\tDevelop a time base maintenance system
\n\tEnsure base condition of machines
\n\tFacilitate inspections, manage repairs and defect finding
\n\tInitiate & train operators on autonomous maintenance step 1 to 3 initiated, guide operators to become equipment owners
\n\tManagement of the Breakdown Elimination (BDE)
\n\tTrack and report maintenance indicator results and in Process measures.
\n\tDevelop improvement plans
\n\tChampions and lead the continuous improvement plans<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience Required\u00a0<\/p>\n
Education, Master, other certification:<\/p>\n
\tProfile \/specification: mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical.
\n\tTechnical secondary school
\n\tOne year as a maintenance technician, leader, shift supervisor, Kaizen specialist, engineer e.g. TS, QA, and EM,IE for 3 years.<\/p>\n
Experience (years):<\/p>\n
\t4 to 7 years\u2019 experience in the maintenance field in a manufacturing environment
\n\tExperience and reasonable technical mastery in operations
\n\tPlanning, Leading, Technical and Organizing skills<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
\tSkill in disseminating knowledge
\n\tSkill in performing at least one job in the area at the operator\u2019s level<\/p>\n
Soft\/Behavioral Skills:<\/p>\n
\tCommunication skills and willingness to interact with shop floor staff
\n\tA \u00a0desire \u00a0to be in a lead role
\n\tBe a self-starter
